A small town on an island in southeast Alaska is home but I am currently teaching in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Starting in July 2013, my wife and I will be working in India for a few years.
Trips to South Korea and Brazil while I was in high school instilled a desire to travel, experience cultures, seek wildlife, and learn about historical sites. My wife and son also travel extensively - every break we have involves some jaunt. Our winter break was spent on Sri Lanka and last summer we rode the Trans Siberian Railroad from Mongolia to Moscow.
My wife teaches history and I long for wild places so we experience many diverse areas when we travel.
