My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The past few years of my life have been an exceptional blend of photography, traveling, and teaching. Since graduating from university I have been avidly pursuing my passions. For three years now I have been living in different locations across the globe. I took my first job as an English teacher in South Korea. I Initially accepted this job as a means to satiate my addiction to seeing the world. While living in Korea I came to realize many things about myself, but the two most important revelations I had were that I love teaching and I am completely obsessed with photography. Since those early days of my nomadic lifestyle, my passion for photography, traveling, and teaching has grown exponentially and has taken me across Asia, North America, and now Europe, where I currently reside in Madrid, Spain. Throughout my travels I have been working incessantly on building my portfolio, so that one day I can realize my dream of capturing the world through my lens professionally. If I am selected for this assignment, I will utilize my extensive skill set to the best of my ability, so that others can feel the beauty of the country though my images, for this is truly the soul of my passion.
