Our hosts are delightfully dotty. There are 3 locks to get past to get from outside to our room and due to a linguistic breakdown, Papa decided to role play entering the casa. We had to follow the steps through the use of each key, but as we had politely, so we thought, removed our shoes, papa had to role play the outside door by himself whilst Rikki and I stood inside avidly watching the lock and voila, papa appeared from behind the door, huge smile, 'Echo'! Next the bedroom door, which we observed being opened then the 3 of us entered and papa locked mama out presumably to ensure that we got the idea.
