Well have arrived safely though the flight was a bit hairy landing into Bangkok, Being an electrical storm and all. Fork lightening is actually very scary. Though once the 2 children had stopped vomitting things got a little easier. Been in Thailand for 2 days now and the heat is stiffling its been trying to rain all day with no success.
Today has been busy with the Khaosan road markets got the hair braided which is lovely and much cooler. Bought clothes and a silver anklet very cheaply and even had a go at the haggling skills. Turns out that I really do need to work on these, Has been hard trying to remember that I am here for 4 weeks so don't need to go over board now.
On my first night here I arrived at 10pm only to discover that Intrepid hadn't notified them of my arrival or that I was staying extra days. Seems to be sorted which is good given that I have already paid.
Can't get over how hot it is, though I think this is being made worse by a lingering cold and now a stomach upset. I think the spicy food is a bit much. Can't wait to get on with the rest of the trip though.
