SCHOOL TIME - The children sit in their 'classroom' made from trees, sticks and leaves. Led by their teachers, they sing to us in Swahili and then also show us how they are learning English too by reciting the alphabet for us.

NATURAL BEAUTY - I was in amazed at how stunning this Mother and her baby are. They live in a place where clean water is not readily available and wear no make up, yet their skin is almost flawless. The happiness in the Mother's eyes and the innocence of her baby's truly made me reflect on my own materialistic items.

REALITY - The people of Samburu were among the friendliest people we met while in Kenya, but the sad reality is that they still need to sell items to get by. You wish you could help everyone as you walk past them and their short huts. The hardest part about saying goodbye to the tribe was having to say 'no thanks' and 'sorry' to so many of them as we head back to the van.
