I started with a film camera in my early 20’s. Enchanted by Ansel Adams I wanted to become the female version of him. Life did not quite pan out that way but I came back to photography in 2009 with the purchase of a digital camera --if anything the fire is stronger and more insistent. I still own my original film camera, a Canon AE-1 and I am still out there capturing life and nature in Black and White format with it.

Beauty is in everything that surrounds us
I trust my intuition, whatever feeling or emotion I may be unable to express in coherent thought is what I strive to capture in every image
I prefer to be out in nature as she keeps the Wylde Spirit in me and reminds me to live in the present moment. Every day I learn something new and the entire journey is to live and capture the moment.
I shoot mostly in digital-the the urge to capture in film still strikes me. My favorite time of day to shoot is first thing in the morning when the light is gentle and soft.
My love affair with photography continues to grow and I love the modern tools of editing such as Lightroom and Photoshop. My images range from Straight out of the Camera to digital enhancement. Besides capturing the moment my second greatest pleasure comes from sharing the story behind the image
Life is about living the IMPOSSIBLE ( I M POSSIBLE) . It is about creating and then doing the bucket list. Live each day boldly and fearlessly and believing in and striving to make your dreams come true. Each day is a gift, live it with gratitude and appreciation. Treat everyone as a friend; you never know what that momentary kindness will do for them or for you.
