Work for what you want

My Scholarship entry - 24/7

Thailand | Tuesday, November 11, 2014 | 5 photos

My album 24/7 is a representation of what it is like to have to work for what I want. These photos where taken in 2014 in Thailand, I was inspired by the culture and lifestyle of Thailand. These photographs each have a story related to working hard, which represents my life in Australia. The ability to capture another's life and wonder what their full story is amazes me.

I have only recently bought entry range equipment which has helped me score a few event photography jobs. I am also juggling full time University studying History teaching and two casual cafe and fast food jobs.

My true career path would be to undertake Travel Photography, I love travelling and would love to see all the history in countries and the aftermath of WWI and WWII. Travel and history combined in a photography is all I ever dream about.
My photography passion began when I was a young girl, but I hadn't fell in love with it until September 2011, I went on a student exchange to Italy with my school. Spending two weeks living in a completely different lifestyle and culture was the best experience of my life. That was when I knew what I wanted to do with my life.

If I am chosen, it would be an amazing opportunity for me and it will allow me to expand my photography work and improve my photography skills. One day I dream to work for National Geographical Team.

About workaholic

Fighting for what I believe in is work too.

During 2014 January Thailand had an Anti-government protests. On my trip I had the privilege to walk through the protest near Siam Centre and capture true beauty. My favourite of all 800 Protest photographs was this amazing young girl. Her innocence in such chaos was pleasant.
