Is my life only worth 3 Thai Baht.
Walking through the markets in Thailand you see all kinds of things, and all kinds of people. This young child opened my eyes to what it would be like to be working at such a young age. I tried to ask how old she was but I could only say, hello and thank you in Thai so our conversation went like this.
me: สวัสดี (S̄wạs̄dī)
her: สวัสดี (S̄wạs̄dī)
me: How old are you?
her: 3 buht ไทย (3 Buht thiy)
She replied with the amount she was selling her fish.
