Hi
Just a quick update.
Portugal was HOT and nice but one week was enough. I actually found most of it too touristy for my liking.
We felt the 5.9 earthquake in Istanbul. We had just gone to bed. It was a bit scary but we are fine.
I didnt have email access in turkey but tonight we are back in Firenza
and we have a computer in the hostel. Turkey was nice and better than I
expected. It was lovely to catch up with Vicky there and we had 3 days of fun
together. She has turned into a beautful, mature young lady. She is
going to Paris in August to complete her final year of Law. Its a
similar set up to what Claire did.
I LOVE being back in Italy! It was 31 degrees when we arrived at 6pm tonight. We had
a lovely meal before and wandered the piazzas but now about to head off
to bed after practising a bit of Italian out on the streets and in the restaurant.
