One Wilde Woman's adventures

Paris au printemps

NEW ZEALAND | Thursday, 7 April 2011 | Views [327]

I went through some local markets and the smells of the fresh fruit and vegetables brought back memories of my job in a fruit store when I was a teenager.

I cant get enough of the gorgeous, colourful and varied types of tulips everywhere. Today was 22 degrees so I exposed my lily white legs to the Parisians and set off in a skirt and t shirt this morning.I spent time in Parc Morceau enjoying the sunshine and watching the nannies and children out and about. The park was also popular with joggers around lunchtime. From there I walked to the Eiffel Tour and decided this time I should go to the top. Its a LONG way up. I started to have second thoughts about it at one stage but told myself I d regret it later if I didnt. The queues weren t too long and of course the views were amazing.

I read some of my previous blog entries earlier and realise how many typos the European keyboard makes me do.Ha Ha. The only thing is that when I get home to NZ I ll have to re adjust again. I suppose it s the price you pay for having an extended holiday on the other side of the world. I d do it again any day.
