Among other Aussie phrases (learn a few as you read) I have picked up during my time Down Under, "ta" is short for thank you. While I've missed my friends and family, I have had an incredible 6 months living on the Sunshine Coast. Work was work, but we all know that's not really why I came. To travel, explore, meet people and enjoy the sunshine, now that's more like it. I put my best foot forward and think I did a pretty well. So good onya (well done) Whitney!
Have a laugh with me in Good Onya Oz, and see how I spent my last few weeks in Australia. From surfing in Noosa, and climbing Mount Coolum, to an arvo (afternoon) in a "sailing" race with Captain Jim, a farewell barbie, and a day of the best cheesy tourism that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. So put on your bathers (swimsuit), sunnies (sunglasses), and thongs (flip-flops) and lets hit the beach.
Didn't meet any good blokes (guys) to have a pash (kiss) with, but made some great mates (friends). Many thanks to Megan, Gail, and Gloria. It wouldn't have been the same without you.
