Look once, look twice, look three times, pray and cross the street.
20th June - Dalat to Nha Trang

Early breakfast and checkout from hotel. Anh had organised our bus ticket and pickup to Nha Trang. A mini bus came 15 mins late and when we arrived at the station we purchased a ticket for 120,000 dong each or $6 each. The trip was on the new road and only took 4 hours to travel 140 km. The trip was over the mountains for nearly all of the trip and there were many locals on the bus who were very ill most of the way. We stopped after 1 1/2 hours for roadside pit stop by the side of the road. Must say I wasnt going to bare my bum to the passing traffic. Stopped a little further up for another break and fortunately there was toilet facilities. When we got off the bus the heat just hit us. We had our rain coats on up to this point for warmth. Arrived in Nha Trang around 12 noon and caught mini bus to hotel Carpe DM where Danny and Tar welcomed us. Room is spacious and more than adequate. Had lunch at local cafe and went for a walk to the beach which is two streets away. Kevin decided to go back to the beach to Louisiane Bre House and spent 4 hours there. I just relaxed and went for a walk around the local streets. For tea we went to Ganesh Indian Restaurant and Kevin says it was the best Indian he had ever tasted. His pallet has certainly developed over the past few years. I left Kevin at a local bar / cafe called Jennies which is close to our hotel.
