This is the lighthouse at Byron Bay. Aparently Byron Bay has the homes of some famous people like Nicole Kidman. It is also the home to great white sharks that nibble kayaks and surfboards. There was a newspaper report of a girl whose sea kayak got bitten by a shark, 150 meters off shore. She beat it with the paddle and it left her alone.
Anyway, the lighthouse gives spectacular views of the beaches and the rugged coastline. It's a beautiful place. I would seriously consider staying here. The only thing putting me off is Nicole Kidman. I don't mind kayaking with killer sharks but I'm not living next to that skinny witch.
