A pair of Tristram's Starlings resting on a rock in Ein Gedi National Reserve; after a couple of hours of spotting, trekking and rock climbing, they decided to pose just a meter far from me, almost choosing themselves this composition.
Their species nestle in the area where the ruins behind them lie from 5000 years, originally a temple erected for water-linked ceremonies; overlooking the land home of the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, a recent collective community of people, allowed to live there thanks to the two springs generated from the rainfalls over the mountains behind.
