The Drakensburg, Sth Africa. This was taken after we climbed a 70m chain ladder with no harness and our packs on. I was 16 at the time and although I am smiling, on the inside I was screaming "thank god, I'm aliiiiiive!!!!"

Island of Koh Chang. Went to Thailand, rode a scooter and broke my wrist... so unoriginal. This happened two weeks into our 4 week trip, was bandaged up and iodined (have never said the 'F' word so many times in one sitting) then it was Long Island Ice Tea's and buckets to dull the pain. Horrible looking injuries, although initially painful - they turn out to be a great icebreaker and attract free drinks !
