At 57yrs old I feel very ready for the next chapter in my life.
Born in England I emigrated to Australia at the age of 14 with my family in 1965. In 1969 I married a young English lad from Yorkshire and returned to England in 1971.
After 5 years we departed the UK with our two young sons and travelled overland in an old morris through Europe, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan & India where we then returned to Australia.
Living for a while in NSW then South Australia we eventually settled on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland in 1981.
As owner operator of a professional business I was working 24/7 for many years. It was only last August (2008) that I decided to load up the backpack and pick up the tracks where I left off so many years ago and enjoy some extensive travelling.
