Many would think this to be the boring part, but I have enjoyed the planning so far, especially after discovering the travel clubs such as Couchsurfing and Hospitality Club.

It was only last August 2008 that a plan was set in motion and that a departure would take place in Feb 2009. At the time 6 months seemed to be more then enough time to make the necessary arrangements. And here I am in January already with so much to still sort out before I depart.

Main thing of course was making my home suitable for share accommodation so to have house sitters here whilst I am away. At least that is now in place.

There is still so much to do, and my list seems to get longer rather then shorter.
