Bey Citadel in Alexandria This castle is located at the end of the island of Pharos maximum west of Alexandria.And constructed in place of Mannar Alexandria old demolished in 702 AH after the devastating earthquake that occurred during the reign of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad. The Sultan began Ashraf Abu-Nasr Qaitbay building this castle in the year 882 AH and finished construction year 884 AH

And this castle takes the form of box covers an area of 150 m * 130 m surrounded by sea on three sides.
Bey Citadel in Alexandria is one of the most important castles on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea has cared sultans and the rulers of Egypt over historical times, Bey Citadel was built on an area of 17550 square meters.
