This set of photos was taken during the Annual Vegetarian Festival in Phuket. It is tradition opinion from China, held over a nine days during the nine lunar month of Chinese tradition calendar of every year. The custom has been descended by local Thai-Chinese folks. The vegetarian festival is also counted as one of religious precepts, in which people will make an exemption of eating any kinds of meat including taking other life as well.

Anyhow, This pictures series I want to say about " Believe in Gods Through Mah Song"
'Mah Song', the mediums or the spiritualist representing god. Those people would manifest the supernatural power and preserving peacefulness and happiness of people. The mediums are also to proof the existence of god in order to encourage the new generation preserving the customs.


My name is Nic Uthaipanumas. I'm 25 years old. I had graduated form communication arts and design in Bangkok. I'm easygoing girl who's like to take photo, meet new people and new place.
