My name is Valerio Pompilio, I'm 24 years old and I'm coming form Italy, but actually I'm working and living in Germany. I start with photography 6 years ago, attracted from the way that a camera can change the reality around me.
I started with digital photography, but I'm also attracted to the analog.
About photography I follow the way of reportage: tell storys, be in contact with people, know new realitys of life. I think nothing can bring you so close to the life of someone else, to be so intimate and at the same time show that what have you saw and felt.
But on the other side I love to be somewhere in the nature, to see how strong and big and magnificent is. So I'm also taking landscape pictures and I prefer more natural landascape. For the urban landscape most of the time I'm searching for geometrical and symmetrical shots.
I would like to be choose to get this great experience through Greenland to have the possibility to put my self in a big challenge and prove my skills in photography. To learn more from a great photographer, also how to deal with the hard condition of a place like Greenland.
