It was such a nice thing of Olga to invite me over to their place.
I had a real good time in Singapore, not doing much, just enjoying being with friends again :)
I expected the town more lightened up because of the chinese New Year, but I couldn't see that much. Some lamps, some flowers.
One day the neighbors got the lion-dancers into their appertment for good luck. That was very nice to see.
One day I wandered around China-town just to see NO chinese, they were probably having a family-party at their homes..
One day we went to a chinese place and ordered a plate with a lot of different stuff on it, colourful. We were supposed to toss it up in the air and mix it, so that every ingredience would be part of the food. The ingediences are symbols for luck and money and whatever.
Another day we went to a kind of fair at the harbour. A lot of local artists showed their art- shadow-puppets, painting, sugar-figures and so on.
I left for Cambodia after a week :)
