This is a trailer of my 27-min documentary Living Without Men, which is
the final project of MA Screen Documentary in Goldsmiths, University of
London.
Synopsis: In their 20s, some Chinese Women preferred to vow celibacy for life instead of submitting to arranged marriages. They earned their living in factories and moved in a nursing home after retirement. Now in 90s, they tell their story in proud and loneliness, but no regret:"At that time, it was the fashion!"
