Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the European countries which has the highest level of diversity of their nature, including hydrosphere and biosphere. The biosphere has the advantage that the country is relatively sparsely populated and there are also uninhabited areas. Even half of the country is forested, and especially its mountains. This untouched nature looks so powerful and colorful live that you simply can’t resist! For example, I couldn’t take my eyes off this ‘’tiger patterns’’ of the river Pliva. There is a significant number of endemic plant species, Bosnian lily which grows on calcareous soil is one of them. Also, some of the animals which have become extinct in Europe were held there as wolves, brown bears and grouses.

In the western Balkans there is a beautiful unrevealed country which has the largest resources of natural spring water in the Balkans. Bosnia and Herzegovina possess something that other countries of Old world lost: the cleanest water and air in Europe and splendid natural wealth of magnificent rivers, lakes, ponds and mountains. Unfortunately, the most people has heard only about ‘’The Bosnian war,’’ which has ended still 1995. year. As distinct from, this country should be famous for their incredible natural beauty. For instance, royal town Jajce is well-known on the Balkans as the host of the second congress of AVNOJ 1943. year (Anti-Fascist Council of the People's Liberation of Yugoslavia ). Lesser known fact is that real recognizable symbol of the city is this magnificent 17 meter high waterfall, situated at the place where the river Pliva flows into the river Vrbas. The real wonder of nature which takes your breath away! Actually, you can refresh yourself in this waterfall, fell the freshness and the tremendous strenght of the water and memorize this marvelous view.
