My name is Noel Ugay a hobbyist photographer from the Philippines.

I think as early as eight years old, my love affair with photography began. Though I can't call it passion back then because for me it was just a child's play, my mom had a compact Kodak film camera at that time which we use during special occasions as she let me snap some shots. My mom thinks I’m more efficient in using it than her. I still have that camera by the way, but I don't know if it still fully functional up to now.

Flash forward to this date, I'm already 26 years old. I have a DSLR camera as a gift when I graduated from college and that rekindle my love for taking photos, it was not just a child's play anymore. Technically, it was more serious as I was keen on researching what camera will I get for the type of photography I'm into. Street photography and landscape photography never fails to fascinate me. Yes they may look simple but nothing is what it seems. It has always been a struggle for me to do street photography as I'm an introvert. I find it more convenient to do landscape for that matter; even if it means to carry a considerable amount of gears with me. As the years passed by, I thirst far more than just snapping shots, I opt to take photos that tell stories, not just a feast for the eyes but deeper than that, a vision.
