Ever wondered why people love travelling? Ever wondered why people move around the world learning other people's culture? Well it all comes down to "Adventure". In other words, we all want a piece of the forbidden fruit. The word "Forbidden" in travel sector means Adventure. Adventure comes with fun and risks, and more fun.
I have had the opportunity of travelling to other countries seeking adventures; but today am going to talk about my adventures in my own country Nigeria.
Nigeria is made up of 36 states and 3 ethnic groups i.e the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. The two most powerful religion are the Christians and the Muslims.
The Hausas dominated the Northern Region of Nigeria and their religion is Islam. The Igbos dominated the South East Region and their religion is Christianity. The Yorubas dominated the South West of the Country and their religion is both Islam and Christianity.
If you are the type that love ancient adventures and you plan to visit Nigeria, i will oblige you to visit the city called "Calabar". It is a city on its own, it belongs to no ethnic or religion. The reason being that Calabar is a replica of ancient Egypt.
Entering the city gate of Calabar feels like entering the city gate of the great Rameses. The road to the "Oguta Ranch" is like the golden corridor that leads to the chamber of Pharaoh. The beautiful "Oguta Ranch" is just the exact replica of the city of Rameses full of hidden adventures.
As you enjoy every piece of this forbidden fruit, remember to take every memorable picture because i assure you, this is one advent that is unforgettable!!!
