Don't tell Mom till after

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Despite the language barrier, I taught a few children how to make a paper helicopter while they waited another day in a bomb shelter so their parents can work. Schools in the town of Askelon were shut down because of constant rocket fire. I felt great until I left, knowing the kids had to remain in the shelters beyond my enjoyable time with them.
