Less than 24 hours!

AUSTRALIA | Sunday, 2 June 2013 | Views [423]

For the past few months I have been patiently waiting for this time to come! I am officially counting down! It is less than 24 hours till I am in New Zealand!

This time tomorrow my step dad and I  would have arrived in Hamilton, New Zealand to start my month long holiday and will be tucked up in bed fast asleep after a VERY long day of travel! We will be getting up at 4 am Australia eastern standard time to start my endeavour. Now for someone like me, and I'm sure most people can relate, I'm not really an early morning person. So not only will I be trying to get organised but I will also be trying to wake up! At least I will be taking a taxi to the train station, which will take about 20-30 minutes to then take a 1 hour 30 minute train ride to the airport. Which is good for me because for one, I don't have to drive and two, I don't even drive anyway so I don't even have to worry about driving in general. Plus what would be the point in my step dad taking his car when we will be in New Zealand for a month? Plus it would waste fuel is well and we would most likely get lost driving to the airport ourselves. I don't have to worry about driving in New Zealand either because I can take the bus, walk or catch a ride with someone else. Plus my step dad's dad is meeting my step dad and I at Auckland airport, so I don't have to worry about finding other transport to Hamilton.

Over all, before I started this holiday I was more excited about the 6 week holiday in general. I mean yeah this will be the first time in over 5 years that I have been back to New Zealand since moving to Australia but I haven't had a 6 week holiday since I left high school, and that was about 5-6 years ago. So who wouldn't be excited about that? Plus not only was I worrying about other things before starting my holiday but I'm moving back to New Zealand between September and November anyway, so I can put all of my excitement into that after I come back from this holiday.

Now I won't be blogging everyday while I'm in New Zealand, but I will most definetly be blogging at least once or twice while I'm there to keep you updated. So I will make sure I will do as much as possible and keep as much necessary notes as possible so I can give all of you updated :) till then, happy reading!
