a dream

albania is just a place somewhere in the world. maybe it's a lot like your world. maybe it's nothing like it. but if you look closer, you might see someone like you. i could not explain in words the feeling i got when i visited the fabulous beaches, the fascinating mountain villages each with its own hundreds of years of stories to uncover. as i traveled through town and country, basking in the sunshine of natural beauty and feeding off the energy of the Albanian people, i couldn't help wanting more. it gets under your skin. past and present, ancient and modern, young and old, muslim and christian, rich and poor, north and south, urban and rural, monarchist and socialist but most of all very beautiful. i've felt that awesome air through my body and them beautiful colos deep inside my mind. beautiful beaches, awesome mountains, great architecture, old cities.. i have that big desire to go there more often and i really wis.h albania was my home
