(5) New Hope — Although live in a hazard-prone area, the residents of five districts nearby Mount Merapi are blessed with their exceptional fertile land. That is why relocation would be a debatable suggestion for them because their lives are based on agriculture in this neighbourhood. One month after the eruption there were many plants in bud by themselves due to the soil fertility. It brought a new hope, not only for each farmer here but also for the whole citizens in this country, to rebuild a new better life.
