Everything went well on the way here. All my flights were on time. Getting upgraded to Business Class for the longest flight from Sydney to Dubai was definitely a bonus. Very nice G&Ts in the Qantas and Emirates Lounges! Although in Economy from Dubai to Paris, the flight was much shorter and Lindee, Liz and I each had a spare seat beside us so it wasn't too bad.
All our luggage arrived and our pre-paid shuttle taxi turned up exactly where and when he said he would so it wasn't long before we arrived at our accommodation. The best bit about where we're staying is the view of the Eiffel Tower from the living room windows. We can see about the top third of it which is more than enough for me. And it's very pretty at night when it's all lit up with a gazillion fairy lights.
