This was our aclimatization day 'off' where we went on a 3 hour walk up and back. Not what I call a day OFF but anyway. Great view of the lake at Manang.

This is my all time favourite picture of the trek. YOu can just make out the snow capped mountains in the background.

This is Dahl Baht. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for 99% of the Nepali population. The dahl made Tommy bloat up like a dead cow in a river, he looked like he was 9 months pregnant. I've never seen skin so smooth and stretched - all I could do was laugh at him, I thought about popping him during the night to see if he'd fly aorund the room like a balloon, thought we might be a bit far from a hospital to try it but. he he!!
