My Scholarship entry - From Red Flames to Green Grass: Life on a Volcano

Along a footpath, the grass creeps up from the hard surface of the ground. All around lies the black lava rocks, yet in all this darkness, there is color and life. Stretching like a road, the grass is like a walkway showing how even in the worst of times there is always something good. We just need to look for it, no matter how much time it takes.
