Frieda's Restaurant

Having recently watched Selma Hyak and Julie Taymor's movie "Frieda" with Spanish subtitles in Xela (great movie!) I decided we should try Frieda's Restaurant just north of the square on the street to La Merced. Food was OK and the ambiance all Frieda. See video montage of Frieda next.

We decided to have lunch at Frieda's Restaurant. To practice Spanish during my time in Xela I re-watched the Selma Hyak/Julie Taymor movie, Frieda, about Mexican-born artist Frieda Kahlo so I was curious. (By the way, I recommend this movie and the special features interviews for anyone interested in the life and art of Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera).
