Market in village along the way
22 March 2009: Only because I have never uploaded a video before I thought I would give it a shot to see how it goes. During the bus ride I learned some interesting things. One was seeing this highway being cut through hills of clay. At other locations the hills had given way. I imagine that when this happens and the clay flows over the highway someone comes and hauls away the dirt to open the highway. I guess it isour equivalent of snow. Along the way there were also steep hillsides farms and a colorful pueblo market (all in the gallery). The bus trip also had quite a bit of stop and go what with the construction congestion and who knows what else. One time as we sat and waited I noticed this highway workman with a shovel. He was not attacking his job with gusto apparently because it appeared to consist of moving sand from one side of the pile to another. I would say this constitutes underemployment. OK, I just discovered I don't know how to upload this video. Hey Rod, how did you do it? I will figure it out. Here is the color market along the highway instead.
