Hey everyone!
First off, I love photography. It's who I am. Im often told to do something productive with my life at Univesity. But truth is, I've found my passion, and I'm glad I've found it early. I'm only 19, and I stand for sharing life's experiences and beauty among the people that live on this amazing and miraculous planet.
Understanding how the world works within its unique ways, requires knowledge and first hand experience of observing it. I've been fortunate enough to have been well travelled throughout my childhood, and experienced some of the most blissful moments, and tragic downfalls I have encountered so far in my own life's journey. It's moments like these that make you the person you are. Without them, I may just have walked the same path that the majority of people my age have.
Photography takes me away. It is not my hobby, but my passion. Always aiming for a better shot, and constantly trying new angles, positions and techniques. For everyone who shares the same passion for capturing life's moments as I do, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Photography shouldn't be just about taking a 'photo', but conveying the story through the image.
I currently live in Perth, Western Australia, and studying Photography, Interactive Digital Design, and Games Art at University, where I want to pursue a career in photography. I also play basketball, and have been selected multiple times to represent Western Australia at the National Championships nation-wide. I also have been lucky enough to have been selected to represent Australia on an "American Tour" in 2011.
Lastly, photography should be about the moment. Caputuring the perfect moment in time that will never pass again. These moments in life are so precious, and so rare, that they should be taken with your eyes.
