Ha Long Bay. We had been told that during winter Ha Long Bay in northern Vietnam would be dull. The fog that descended on the bay every morning was far from boring. It created a fantastic separation between foreground interest and the endless myriad of islands in the background. Using a wide aperture, this separation was emphasised further to create an image with several layers.
