My Scholarship entry - A Painful Reminder

Photography has been my love since my first photo was snapped. I was introduced to photography in third grade & have always had a camera in my hands since. I was lucky to know then, that this was my forever passion. The best part of photography is being able to share my experiences & viewpoint to others that wouldn't have looked at it the same way or completely overlooked it all together. It's having that opportunity to show an experience or moment that not everyone is lucky enough to have that makes photography special.

This scholarship is a second chance for me. I appreciate the choices I've made since college that have taken me away from being as creative or artistic professionally, but was just wondering when I was OK with not pursuing it further. After just having this realization & knowing a change is needed, my sister sent me your link.

Regardless of the outcome of my entry, this was a nice reminder for how much I need to be doing this. However this isn't why I should win. My ability to compose and capture an artistic image without much computer manipulation is what should win along with having the passion and humility to want to learn and share my images with the world.
