Behold
I once was told
Of nature's treasure
A beauty beyond measure
By way of lens, I present to thee with pleasure
Hidden in a pearl, floating through time, a land of little birds...
Somewhere in the highlands
Lives a family of lovely lucky little islands
I fell in love with them, and it was no mistake
Coz as the skies kiss the hills, it's art that they make
Every dusk and every dawn, it is my breath that they take
I think I lost my heart, or probably left it, in a hut by the lake...
Dare I mention
Of a lost civilization
A subject of fascination
To some its just superstition
But its more than just a destination
Where culture and nature's combination
Serve as home and throne, to a sacred godess...
In her presence
And royal regal embrace
I've found an abundance of purpose
So I can now look my past straight in the face
Coz there, I have had my fill of peace and sense
Behold... At the heart of the pearl, I have been there...
