A+ Students at Surf Camp

We've been keeping busy in Byron Bay, it's such a cool town with heaps of interesting people, shops, and restaurants. We managed to complete our 3day surf camp, and can now successfully say that we can surf.  Still lots of room for improvement though!

We switched hostels yesterday, and we're now staying at the Arts Factory, which is a place that was widely recommended by friends and family that have stayed here in the past.  It's this funky hostel community, that has a pool, volleyball courts, it's own movie theatre, cafe, and you can even opt to sleep in teepees or tent on the adjoining island! The people here are much more laid back and welcoming than at backpackers inn, so we're glad that we made the change!

Tonight, we're pretty tired from all the surfing, so we've decided to take it easy and watch a movie at the lounge cinema. The cinema has couches instead of theatre seats, so it should be pretty relaxing! We're not quite sure what we're doing yet tomorrow... possibly doing the Mt. Warning hike, or depending on the weather it might be a beach day (the weather hasn't been the greatest these last 2 days). Leaving here Tuesday afternoon for Brisbane,
