That last picture, the castle at night, is a phenomenal shot. Absolutely breathtaking. It looks like a professionally taken photograph. I love pictures like that, it almost took my breath away. Thank you for sharing that moment with us. I'm glad to see and read that you both are doing well and looking good, also. Sherry, it sounds like you now have two proclamations: 1) you hate the wind, 2) you hate hills. I feel your pain. All those years when I was training for marathons, running into a stiff breeze on my long runs was brutal. It takes so much energy to fight that resistance. As for hills, it took me a very long time to learn how to run up and down hills efficiently. On more than one occasion I walked up some of the steeper hills, at least part of the way. So don't feel bad. There is no disgrace in having to walk and push that bike up the remaining part of the hill. You're getting to your destinations safely and no worse for the wear. Jon, when you both return maybe you can cook me some pasta since you are and exceptional pasta cooker. I'm getting ready to cook some spinach linguini with an eggplant sauce. You both take care on your journeys and keep safe.
