You will not believe this - for the third day running yet another breakfast that commenced at 8.00am! This time it was about having a full day travelling to Suva for some exploration.
I have now decided that Fiji is a country of vast contrast.
The countryside is stunningly beautiful and the native Fijians are as friendly a group of people that you ever likely to meet.
The towns and cities are the reverse.
After we found the graves of Gloria's great great grandparents in the Suva cemetery, which we located in about 90 seconds thanks to Gaylia's superb directions, we set off for the city proper.
There is nothing to report. We seemed to meet touts everywhere we went and the city is dirty and teeming with people. We did walk through the market prior to having lunch and it was interesting to see what people ate - other than carrots, eggplants and eggs, the vegetables and fish on offer is very different to those that we are used to.
A visit to the Fiji museum was very interesting and informative and we were pleased that we saw that.
Arrived back at the resort at around 5pm and headed for the usual place or refreshment, then dinner and in bed by 10 pm AGAIN!
