Just a quick post because we're on a free internet place in a juice bar in Hong Kong!
We left Japan on Friday and made it to Hong Kong at 20:00 so went straight to hostel... what a weird place... will post some pictures on Flickr soon but the hostel is based on the 13th floor of what would appear to be a chinese laundry / tenement block!! Anyhoo the room is surprisingly nice with good air con so we're happy!
We've seen the harbourside, Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island with the old fishing villages on stilts and today we're off to Stanley - the beach!!
Tomorrow we depart Hong Kong for Shenzhen, over the border into China, to pick up our flight to Bangkok...
