Discovery Oz - discovering Halong Bay - docked at Surprise Cave
We awoke early to go across to Cat Ba Island. Mum said that it was better to go to the bush than the toilet at the dock. The local bus took us to a National Park where we climbed a steep mountain. Along with us were 100's of people which from above would have looked like a busy ants nest. At the top everyone was stuck in a small area unable to go down as there was only one path and not a loop track. A bus transported us to our hotel where we got a bog room followed by a lovely lunch. After lunch we walked around three beaches, called "Beach One, Beach Two and Beach Three." We had a swim at the last one - Beach Two. From the cliffs of Cat Ba you could see wonderful Halong Bay and the big floating village. Cat Ba Island was very nice and we would have loved more time there.
