Today Ni'mah and I are sick - I've got the most painful throat and ear.Nim's got things coming out of all ends. Dad left for Mt Fansipan at 5 in the morning. We spent the morning packing our bags and writing postcards. We went for a lunch of pizza and just after we ordered, who comes down the street but Dad - 5 hours earlier than we expected him. We walked to the Highlands Bakery where we ordered hot drinks and cake. We then got packed and took a minibus back down to Lau Cai. We ended up on a sleeper train for $66 instead of the $12 seat. We did pick the more expensive option on purpose but all the seats were booked out.
