Castle Geyser’s eruptions are predicted at an approximate 8 hour interval, but the next eruption was unpredictable as there had been a minor eruption. It was nature’s special performance as the full moon, wind direction, and the clear sky created a lunar rainbow formed in the mist of the eruption despite a 4 hour delay. The long wait under the harsh weather was well rewarded with nature’s special gift for me that night.
