My Scholarship entry - A Trek through Nepal

Nepal | Wednesday, January 9, 2013 | 5 photos

I aspire to capture great shots using new ideas, being different, taking photos most people would pass by without noticing. When I was 10 I had an accident that left me with a “battle scar”.My love of photography grew from this as I would rather take a photo than be in it. I always have my camera on me hoping for that perfect shot.

I love how photos can form a memory or opinion that is lasting.THIS is what drives me to be a photographer. I take many shots to ensure I’ve the best one, I feel a great shot doesn’t need lots of editing.

I am sporty like hiking, being with my dad in the shed and love netball, particularly when the silver ferns win!

I like to help people and have a natural affinity with animals am able to fly by the seat of my pants and quickly adapt. I’m humorous and respect all cultures and religions.

I would relish the opportunity to learn valuable skills which will further my studies. The skills I learn will enable me to pursue landscape, wildlife or forensic photography, I’m an empty sponge waiting to be filled.

Photography is my future, this is the greatest chance for me to get my foot in the door of a very competitive field.

So Jason, I eagerly await your call
