WOOO!!! My bag arrived this afternoon and so am eventually able to move on. Writing this from bus station in Santiago where I am just about to start a 22hr bus journey to the dessert! Created a bit of amusement trying to buy my ticket. Very few people speak English here and my Spanish is sparse to say the least, so lots of nodding a hand jestures.
