Documenting the lives of Palestinians.

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Two children welcomed our group of international visiters to their home in Hebron. Their home had become such a frequent target for Israeli aggression that all of the windows have steel bars to protect the inhabitants, and the children are not allowed to leave their home for more than 10 minutes at a time. Even with these horrendous circumstances for a child to be reared, they still have the curiosity and childishness to wave and smile to new people.
