After settling in at the gorgeous Quay West Suites (check out the view here) it was off to Bondi Beach for a welcome BBQ. We thought it'd be good to bring in an expert to show Dervs and Cuzzy how to manage a few snags and steaks. Enter Jared Ingersoll, chef and owner at Danks Street Depot.
Jared was good value and even took Dervs and Cuzzy through the tricks of the trade when operating a BBQ in the park - including how to make the most of a faulty hotplate and the "Lost" style power source (where you need to press the button every 108 seconds to keep the heat going).
The verdict? Good eating! Right Cuzzy?
We're sure the excessive yawning was down to the jetlag and not the 7 days in Sydney crew's hilarious jokes but we managed to get enough energy up for the first jumpshot of the trip.
