Next it was off to play barefoot bowls at Paddington Bowls Club. Dervs was expecting the club to be "full of 70 year old men, taking about the war". Cuzzy thought much the same: "I used to think Bowls was for the over 70’s, not in Sydney anyway!"
Dervs talks bowls: "it was full of under 35’s all drinking. It is a very sociable place. So we had teams of 3 and bowling it out whilst having a few vodka redbulls."
Cuzzy agrees: "I have to admit my bowling skills were nothing to write home about, but the club itself was impressive and heaving with young trendy people, something I didn’t expect at all."
In fact, Dervs put in her in her top 5 list for the ultimate things to do in Sydney!
